It’s All About Me…Judy Stirton

I retired to Sequim from California in 1998. Moved just in time to start Master Gardner Classes, which I found fascinating. I highly recommend that for anyone that loves to garden. Washington dirt is different than California dirt..(oops, I mean soil) and the weather….huge, wonderful difference!

My real job in California was real estate owner and manager of a 50 agent real estate office which I loved.  Today I’m back in the real estate field but on a smaller scale working with some great Brokers at BrokersGroup Real Estate in downtown Sequim. With all my years of experience I wanted to get back into something I loved.

I have also been into dog rescue for years, starting in California, where a couple of friends and I  took over a failing humane society and formed Valley Oak SPCA in Visalia CA. Just before I left we built our own low cost clinic and established a fantastic adoption program.

When I retired to Sequim I swore that I wouldn’t get so involved in dog rescue, emotionally it was tough.  Well, that didn’t last long! I started Welfare for Animals Guild (WAG) in 2000 and incorporated in 2001 as a non-profit corporation.

If you are looking to move to Sequim I would love to help you. I have many years of experience and people tell me I’m easy to talk to.  The majority of my clients are retired or soon to be retired. They are looking to find a great place to kick back and do some real living!

Here’s a little form to send to me if you wish.
